Great Grammy moment 2014
What a great moment when surviving Beatles members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr “reunited” at the 56th Grammy Awards, Sunday January 26th, to perform Queenie Eye from McCartney’s 2013 album New.
Earlier on the Grammy red carpet, Starr mentioned that the two had played together the previous week. They last performed together publicly on Starr’s 70th birthday bash in 2010 and at a David Lynch Foundation benefit concert at New York’s Radio City Music Hall in 2009.
And, yeah, you guessed it, the two geezers can still bring the crowd to their feet –

Ringo Starr also performed his 1973 hit song, Photograph, which was co-written with his former Beatles band mate, George Harrison (who passed away in 2001).
McCartney shared the Grammy award for Best Rock Song with Nirvana ex-members Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear for Cut Me Some Slack.
McCartney (b. 1942) is not new to the Grammys! He shared 10 of them with The Beatles, 2 with Wings and received 4 Grammys as a solo artist.
